Although, Steyn has already taken retirement from the test format but was available for the T20 matches, but the South African board decided to keep the bowler out of the contingent.

Quinton de Kock has been announced as the captain of the visiting South African team. Meanwhile, taking a dig at the selectors Dale posted some tweets on his social media handle and apologised to Indian skipper Virat Kohli, but fans have no idea about it.

After this apology, Twitter was left wondering why Steyn was apologizing to Kohli, and left everyone confused after his without context tweet.

However, prior tweets made by Steyn decode the purpose of his tweet, as it means that the South African board don’t think that a T20I is not a big game.

The series between India and South Africa will start from 15th of September and the first match will be a T20 game scheduled to be hosted at Dharamshala ground.

With this, it will be the first series between both the nations for the first time after the end of Cricket World Cup. In which, both the nations were left disappointed after failing to lift the cup in England. On the other hand, BCCI is yet to announce the Indian squad for the same series.
